A new mode has been added to Azure Striker Gunvolt Trilogy Enhanced. It features Copen, the protagonist of the spin-off Luminous Avenger iX 2.
Players can look forward to experiencing a new and exclusive story in the Gunvolt timeline. It begins with the mystery of Xiao Wu, Gunvolt's old friend and comrade. This new content features full English and Japanese voice acting.
Inspiration System
One of the new features is the Inspiration system. How it works is that Copen and GV are featured as a tag-team. However, it is up to the players to determine which one gets to take on the mission. Then while one is fighting, the other that's one standby gains "Inspiration." Then when Inspiration becomes full, players can tag between the characters and in return get a temporary boost making the already powerful fighters even stronger. In addition, swapping out with high Inspiration also fills the "GX Skill" gauge, which lets players release a devastating tag attack when full.
Sharing Rewards
When Copen and GV team up to defeat the bosses, they'll also share the rewards. While Copen gets a new EX Weapon for each boss you defeat, GV meanwhile awakens a new Skill. Copen's EX Weapons are all-new for Gunvolt GX and open up new strategies as players take on its challenges.
