It's time to celebrate something big in Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. That's because none other than Crash Bandicoot is turning 30.
That's right! This year marks the 30th anniversary of this marsupial's antics. In all that time, he has done it all! From cart racing and all the way to brawling. So it doesn't come as a surprise that when Crash and his friends first entered the scene, gamers around the world fell head over heels for them. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of Crash Bandicoot, the icon is appearing in several major collaborations that include appearances in other games and even physical merch.
One of the main reasons why Crash Bandicoot had the impact that it did was because rather than follow the 2D sidescrollers that dominated the platforming market at the time, the development team instead went for a 3D experience. As a result, this redefined the platformer genre.

As part of the celebration, the Good Smile Company is re-releasing the chibi-style Nendoroid Crash Bandicoot figure. This one sees Crash outfitted with articulated eyebrows along with interchangeable eye and tongue parts that can then form all kinds of wacky expressions. There are also several alternate body parts to make it easy to customize the marsupial with action-packed poses straight from the game.

Fans can showcase just how much they love Crash with the Fanattik collectible coin. This one actually features not only Crash but also Cortex. The heavy metal and double-sided embossed pieces feature stamped serial numbers and come in protective display packaging. This should be the perfect gift for collectors looking to show off their love of gaming’s craziest mascot.
Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time puts the action-platforming hero into a time shattered adventure. It seems that Neo Cortex and N. Tropy are back at it again and now launching an all-out assault on not just on this universe, but the entire multiverse. It's now up to Crash and Coco to save the day and to do so, they'll need to reunite the four Quantum Masks and bend the rules of reality.
