All players in Rivals of Aether II are invited to be part of the Winter Festival 2025. This new event is now live and to run all the way to January 6. During the event, players have the chance to earn free holiday cosmetics that include the Reindeer Absa Skin and Icon, the Christmas Platform, Elf Clairen emote, and Christmas death effect, to name a few. There's also coins and bucks available.
New Skins
In addition to what's mentioned, a paid bundle is being offered. It has three new winter skins which are Santa Zetterburn, Elf Clairen, and Artic Fleet. Each one comes with their own icons to match along with coins and bucks.
Those able to equip any of the event skins can receive 20% Bonus XP on the event track. It's the same for those who equip any of these holiday skins: Snowday Ranno, Snowman Kragg, Krampus Forsburn, White Elephant Loxodont. With the exception of the White Elephant Loxodont, all of the other skins have been added to the Feature Store for Aether Coins.
December Events
North America has two Online Rivals 2 Championship Series events happening this month. The first is the Platfight Online Gaming Championships, which is on December 14. Meanwhile, the new Hungrybox R2CS online is on December 20.
Across the ocean, Europe is set to host the final regular season event at No Time To Tilt 2025 in Deutschland. There the fans can enjoy the show that is the fight between the current top 2 players Dia and Neylax.
