It's time to face off rival superheroes as SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed is now available on Steam. This high-speed multiplayer platformer invites players to a race where they can use parkour, grappling hooks, and even those game-changing power-ups.
The game is a sequel to the competitive platformer SpeedRunners, released in 2016. Players can choose to buy the standard edition which is currently being offered at a 10% discount. There's also the Supporter Edition which has the base game and adds the official soundtrack.

Players need to master the movement like building momentum, swinging with a grappling hook, and outmaneuvering opponents. They can use various items like speed boosters, shortcuts, and traps that are scattered across maps. Players can also release a wide range of power-ups that include fan-favorites fireballs, freeze rays, and golden hooks. There are also new additions like blasters and portable teleporters.
One of the features is Save New Rush City where players get to meet new and returning heroes. They'll also need to gear up for multiplayer mayhem in a campaign that expands the original story and lore. Other features include Quick Play, Ranked, and the rule-bending modes in the Playground. Players can also look forward to the new 64-player elimination tournaments.
