Get ready for a ribbitin' return to retro with the upcoming release of Frogun Encore. The follow-up to the smash hit retro-collectathon Frogun, is set to launch on June 25th. The game, which is filled with love and nostalgia for the PS1/N64 era of gaming, will be available on Steam, GoG, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and the Xbox family.
In Frogun Encore, three years have passed since Renata ventured deep into the lost ruins and saved her parents (and the world!) from Beelzebub, Lord of the Flies. After an attack on Jake's town by the nasty Fly Bois, the loyalists of Beelzebub, Renata and Jake must chase the flies all over the world to thwart their plan. With the vengeful General Fluff scheming to use secret technology to bring the Lord of the Flies back to this world, the stakes have never been higher.
As a retro throw-back platformer, Frogun Encore builds upon all the strengths of the original Frogun. The game features an expanded moveset, true couch co-op playable all the way through, and much more. It asks a simple question: are you ready to return to a world of low-poly vibes and PS1/N64 era charm?
