Playing video games is mostly about winning. However, what happens when those same victories return to haunt the players? That's what Lose My Mind is bringing to the table when it comes to platformers.

Unlike games in the same genre, this precision pixel-art rage platformer brings with it a cruel twist. Success creates future nightmares. Players take on the role of a lone fox who's navigating a rather deceptive landscape. From the peaceful forests and all the way to the frozen wastelands, there is the appearance of a world looking calm

"Level 10" Syndrome

The game divides the world into two unique biomes. Each one has 10 levels. Levels 1 through 9 has been designed to test the platforming skills of the players. They dodge spikes, jump over pits, and evade projectiles.

However, while all of this is happening, the game is actually quietly collecting data. Each time players complete a level, the location of the active traps is saved.

Early Access Content

As mentioned, Lose My Mind is in Early Access and features two major biomes. The first is the Forest World. It introduces the mechanics, basic traps, and of course, the first "Level 10" challenge. Then the Winter World features slippery surfaces and a rather brutal ramp-up when it comes to difficulty.

Early Access Roadmap

With the game in Early Access, it means that it's going to evolve based on feedback from the players. One of the features the development team is working on is to add more worlds. That means new biomes, each one having unique traps and mechanics.

Players can also look forward to the Multiplayer Mode. It's where they get to race against their friends or sabotage their runs in real-time. Another feature in the pipe are the skins & customizations. Players can unlock hats, colors, and trails for their fox as long as they complete hardcore challenges. Finally, there are the collectibles, which are hidden items placed in every level and a challenge for all completionists.
