Developer Lillymo Games announced that it has partnered with JSQRD to release the official vinyl soundtrack for Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege. It has the full 26-track score of the game placed to a physical format.

In a statement, the studio shared that the release features a single 180g purple and white pinwheel splatter disc that's housed in a full-color premium jacket and inner sleeve. This package has key artwork by Lachlan Pini with Joshua Gossage and JSQRD providing the pixel art. The tracks are composed by Josh Davis and are inspired from classic 8-bit traditions while at the same time support the tone and pacing of the game.

By the way, those who buy the soundtrack have a bonus "top secret" guide that contains hidden passwords tied to the game. That said, the studio revealed that if ever the supply can't meet the demand, they may consider "a second pressing" later this year.

Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege is set in the year 1698. The peace that was negotiated after the War of the Grand Alliance has been shattered by a mysterious figure named Father Pacer. It appears he's been obsessively and violently stealing Catholic relics across the Holy Roman Empire. It's now up to an ex-soldier-turned-farmer Rudiger to protect the people from a power-mad priest and his horde of monsters and minions.

The game offers a robust and 21-stage single player campaign that can also be played entirely in two-player co-op. Players can experience the stunning, gory, and atmospheric NES-era pixel art while also enjoying the killer 8-bit chiptune soundtrack.

In terms of gameplay, players need to find and befriend animal familiars as they face off against seven bosses. There are unlockable upgrades and bonuses galore. The good news is that the game rewards multiple playthroughs with challenges, achievements, and passwords.

Saint Slayer: Spear of Sacrilege is releasing April 20 for the PC. Minimum system requirements are:
