Wishfully Studios released a new dev diary for Planet of Lana II. This one offers a dive into how the beautiful orchestral soundtrack for the game was created.
The video sees BAFTA-nominated composer Takeshi Furukawa who shares his thoughts on marshaling the talents of a full orchestra and choir. This is the same individual responsible for the music in Planet of Lana, The Last Guardian, and Avatar: The Last Airbender. For the sequel, the music had been expanded to match it. In addition, the music features a full orchestra which is combined with a choir and traditional Swedish musical inspirations. This results in that aural soundscape which not only enhances but also mirrors the stunning visuals of the game.
