The remastered version brings with it enhanced graphics and refined gameplay.

The classic 2D run & gun action platformer returns as BioMenace Remastered is now available on Steam. The game has players fight their way across a city that's been ravaged by dangerous mutants. Along the way they'll need to rescue hostages, discover secrets, and rack up those points. Ultimately they have to find the secret lab that's behind the attack and do what they can to prevent Dr. Mangle from taking over the world.

BioMenace was first released for MS-DOS way back in 1993. It was made by solo developer James Norwood and then published by Apogee Software.

New Episode

The remastered version contains the original three episodes, which has about 36 levels. It also offers a new episode which features more action and with it more danger. Episode 4 is titled as "Menace from Above" and offers 15 regular levels along with multiple secret levels. There are also new environments that have been seen in the original. There are also new game mechanics introduced which include two there were initially cut from the original title. For the storyline, the episode is set a few years after the original.
