Ariana and the Elder Codex is releasing on Steam this April 30. This version comes with English and Japanese voiceover options. In addition, it has English, Japanese, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese subtitle options.

Ariana and the Elder Codex tells the story of the Librarian Ariana. She's on a mission to repair the Seven Hero Codices, which have been altered. As a result of the terrible damages, magic has vanished from the world. By making use of special Librarian magic, she can enter Codices and mend the books to bring back magic.

Reclaim the Magic

As Ariana, players have to venture into the Seven Hero Codices as Ariana and defeat enemies. In return they get to earn new magic spells and abilities that give them access to previously unreachable areas. They can also restore Repair Points by taking on platforming and combat challenges that put their abilities to the test. Players also have to clear Repair Points as quickly as possible for permanent HP boosts and more.

The game gives players access to more than 30 unlockable magic spells and abilities. They can mix and match them across six slots as they embark on the journey to repair the altered Codices. Players can experiment with different combinations to discover what best suits their playstyle.

Players face formidable bosses with each one having that devastating arsenal that tests their combat and platforming skills. They'll have to dodge spells, time attacks, and stay on top of their health to prevail. Players can mitigate challenges by unlocking, crafting, and equipping Magic Items to boost stats and gain buffs such as elemental boosts, increased critical hits, reduced knockback, and more.

In addition to the standard edition, players can also get the Deluxe Edition for Ariana and the Elder Codex. Aside from the base game, it also has the Ocean Bookmark, Rainfall Ring, and Mothers' Blessing.
