Survive the nightmare and earn rewards.
A new Epic Dungeon has opened up in MapleStory. The Nightmare Paradise has seven stages that feature special Divine Energy skills. Those able to defeat the boss and help free Baekyeon and Ara can get their hands on various rewards like EXP, Sol Erda, and Sol Erda Fragment.
To be able to participate, players need to have characters that are at least Lv. 280. In addition, they need to have completed the quests "[Arteria] The Battle’s Aftermath" and "[Epic Dungeon] Delver of the Deep."
For those who meet the requirements, they need to head over to the Operations Center in Arteria and look for Selazar. They then need to accept the quest titled "Epic Dungeon] Nightmare Paradise". To access the Nightmare Paradise dungeon, they'll need to complete the Story Mode.
Take note that progress and completion are saved per character. However, once Story Mode is completed on one character, it can be skipped by other characters within the same account.
Each character can clear only one Epic Dungeon type per week. Up to two Epic Dungeons can be cleared once a week per account.
Nightmare Paradise
There are 7 stages to complete in Nightmare Paradise within a 1-hour time limit. Each stage has a special skill that consumes Divine Energy. The skills are:
- Tiger Slash (Divine Energy: 200)
- Nimbus Cloud (Divine Energy: 500)
- Pull Key (Divine Energy: Max 200)
Divine Energy is obtained by defeating monsters and filling the gauge.

Those able to clear Nightmare Paradise can receive these rewards:
Heroic Worlds
- EXP
- Sol Erda (x2): Untradable, 30-day duration.
- Sol Erda Fragment (x70): Untradable, Permanent
Interactive Worlds
- EXP

- Sol Erda Fragment (x10): Tradable within world, Permanent
