Three new bosses are coming to offer a challenge to players.
A new update is coming soon to MapleStory and one of the highlights is a new job. Get ready to experience the second SHINE class in the game. The update comes out this summer.
All of this was revealed by Chief Product Officer Hanbyeol "Inkwell" Oh through Inkwell's Note. That said, the new job is Erel Light. This is a warrior who wields Gram, the Spear of Light. This class is characterized by being able to fight alongside sentinels that he summons. Inkwell shared that for the game, they've designed Erel Light so that it allows for more dynamic combat which is centered around linked attacks between his skills and those of the sentinels. It pretty much lets players release powerful attacks depending on the situation.
New Bosses
The upcoming update also brings with it new bosses. There are actually three of them. The first is the Challenger World exclusive boss known as Kai the Time Wanderer. Players need to be at least Lv. 270 to challenge this boss. Those who claim the victory can get rewards that have been customized to Challenger World.
The second new boss is Malefic Star, who can be challenged by characters at least Lv. 280. Finally, there is the top-tier boss Jupiter. TO challenge this one, players need to be at least Lv. 295.
Mystic Frontier Champions
During the last winter update, Mystic Frontier was introduced in the game. For the summer update, it's returning and bringing with it new content that's sure to add to the fun of PvP competition. Get ready for Mystic Frontier Champions, which is a new activity where players get to strategically compete against other players using collected and grown familiar decks. Players need to come up with the best deck based on the new rules and monster attributes presented each week.
