Good Smile Company announced that Nekopara Sekai Connect is coming soon to the PC via Steam. It's expected to launch sometime in 2026.
Nekopara Sekai Connect was developed in partnership with NEKO WORKs. Prior to the PC version, the game was released for mobile platforms on April 14. It's going to be available in both English and Japanese. Pre-order is now available on both Google Play and the App Store.
Nekopara Sekai Connect is the latest entry in the globally beloved NEKOPARA romance adventure series, which has surpassed 7 million copies sold worldwide. It's a series of eroge slice-of-life visual novels that was developed by NEKO WORKs and published by Sekai Project. The first game in the series was titled as Nekopara Vol. 1 and released back in December 2014. It's set in a world where humans live alongside catgirls. The series itself follows the Minazuki siblings, Kashou and Shigure. They've created a found family of 6 catgirls over time named Chocola, Vanilla, Azuki, Maple, Coconut, and Cinnamon. The story is focused around work life at Kashou's pâtisserie and home life at Shigure's family house along with the amusements and dramas of everyday life.

For the upcoming title, it's set in a near future where people live alongside AI-created Nekos. These are beings that look human though just a little different. One day, while running the patisserie La Soleil with their adorable Nekos, players receive an invitation to the Neko Festival, a global competition where Nekos and their owners vie for popularity. Rumors say that the winner is granted any wish by the Neko-creating AI.
Steam Version
In a post, the studio shared that the Steam version of Nekopara Sekai Connect is set to be released in Fall 2026. In addition, the studio also announced that the official store page is now live with wishlist registration now open. Those who want to play the Steam version are encouraged to add the game to their wishlist to stay updated on future announcements.
The studio went on to say that the Steam version of Nekopara Sekai Connect is going to support account linking with the smartphone version. Players who plan to play on Steam can start enjoying the story and interacting with the catgirls early on the smartphone version.
Both new smartphone and PC versions have been planned by original creator Sayori.
