LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is releasing a few weeks from now. Those who want to access the game earlier can get the Deluxe Edition, which is available to pre-order.
In addition to the base game, the Deluxe Edition brings with it a lot of new stuff. Let's begin with the Legacy Collection which offers more than 30 launch-day items spread across three Themed Packs which are the Arkham Trilogy Pack, Batman Beyond Pack, Party Music Pack. Each of the Themed Pack comes with seven suits, one Batmobile, and a set of five Batcave customization props.
Then there's the Mayhem Collection which includes a villain-themed Sinister Pack. It has 7 suits, 1 Batmobile, and 1 Batcave prop set. This collection also has a new Story Mission which has players try to break out of Arkham Asylum as The Joker and Harley Quinn. Finally, it adds the Mayhem Mode which lets players cause chaos on the streets of Gotham City.
LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a narrative led action-adventure from TT Games, the same creators of LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. It has players step into Bruce Wayne’s journey to become Batman as he forges bonds with trusted allies while at the same time face most dangerous and iconic DC Super-Villains of Gotham City. It’s a game that’s inspired by decades of Batman films, television, comic books, and games, and jam-packed with Batman nostalgia, and DC lore.
The Journey Begins
Players embark on a journey that begins with the origins of Batman as a young Bruce Wayne who trains with The League of Shadows and all the way to becoming the hero of Gotham City. They get to experience an exhilarating new combat system that features fluid combos combined with stealth techniques as they take on crime not only across the streets but also in the rooftops of Gotham City.
Players can command a full range of Batmobiles and Batcycles that include the legendary Tumbler. They can grapple, glide, or drive across the open world with agility and speed.
