The first one releases this June and the second one dops July.
A new update is being made for MapleStory. It's going to introduce a lot of new content while at the same time bring with it improvements. The update is planned to be released this summer.
Considering how large this upcoming update is, there are two releases planned. The 1st Summer Update released June 17. It's going to add the new boss Malefic Star and season boss Kai. Then there's also the new common node Sol Hecate. Players can also look forward to the release of Althea Saga Episode 1. Finally it has the Summer QoL Update.
The second part drops July 22 and adds the Althea Saga Episode 2. Third new boss Jupiter is making its presence felt in the game with this update. Other new content include Mystic Frontier Champions, Ride or Die, and the new area Geardoc, among others.
New Events
For both patches, there's going to be common events available. The highlight is the Challenger World Season 3. There's also Challenger EXP Duo, Challenger Partners, and Challenger Pass.
Other events include Night of Phantasms, which has Tallahart serving as the center stage. It puts focus on the exciting story of Blanc and the Seekers as they infiltrate Tallahart, which has been revived with illusion magic. There are also a bunch of colorful events like Tallahart Fantasia which offers check-in rewards and buffs.
Aside from what's already mentioned, there are also events in the pipeline that are aimed at supporting the rapid growth of the characters. The summer update sees the launch of Challenger World, Hyper Burning MAX, and Beyond Burning. Meanwhile, Item Burning returns as Item Burning Plus.
