Polyarc announced that Moss: The Forgotten Relic is released this summer. This hand-crafted fantasy adventure is set to be available for the PC via Steam along with consoles PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and Nintendo Switch 2.
The game is part of the Moss franchise with the first game coming out back in February 2018. It introduces players to a young mouse named Quill and begins an adventure. Moss: The Forgotten Relic unites the saga of Quill into one seamless and beautifully enhanced experience for PC and consoles. The game features handcrafted cinematography through newly designed cutscenes and camera systems. There's also modernized visuals and platform-specific enhancements.
As a way to increase the excitement for the game, the studio has released a teaser trailer. It introduces the magical storybook world while at the same time offers a glimpse of its unique "Twofold" gameplay. The game has players not only control a tiny but determined hero on her heartfelt adventure but also directly interact with the world itself as her watchful guardian, the Reader. In a statement, Polyarc Co-Founder and Design Director Danny Bulla shared that the team continues to have a "deeply personal connection" when it comes to the characters and the world of Moss. He added that with this upcoming title, they're excited for players to once again go on a journey with Quill.
