Mezan Studios released a new trailer for its upcoming title Nightscape. It focuses on showing dialogue and offering some hints at the story.

In Nightscape, players take on the role of Layla. They’ll need to explore an ancient Arabian land in a quest to return the stars to the sky and at the same time find their missing father. Helping them are the stellar powers that they wield.
Layla is a young stargazer who inherited the passion of her father when it comes to astronomy. The thing is, Arabic constellations once shined bright and as a result of a catastrophic event, caused their stars to fall from the sky. Because of this, their names have been forgotten and the darkness devouring the world.
Amidst this chaotic world lies the chance to restore and save their father. It’s now up to Layla, who’s accompanied by the Goat Kid, to use their wit, courage and knowledge of constellation powers to put things right. The constellation powers that they have let players manipulate the elements. For example, they can call on the power of the wind. They can even make rain fall from the sky to manipulate the environment to solve puzzles.
Shoot for the Stars
One of the unique features of the game is the weather-controlling gameplay. It lets them make use of unlocked constellation stellar powers by using their magical astrolabe to activate fallen stars, manipulate the weather like summoning winds, calling down rain, and releasing lightning to solve puzzles. They can also explore the breathtaking landscapes that's inspired by the diverse beauty of real-life Arabian locales that include vast deserts, towering rocky cliffs, blooming lush peninsulas, and fiery volcanos, to name a few.
Nightscape is a 2.5D adventure that's inspired by Arabian astronomy. A free demo is currently available on Steam. For those who want to check out the game, minimum system requirements are:
